The Quicky Connect is operated by Tiycav LLC, which is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us any time through our Contact Us form.
When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a profile photo. If you're a guest, we also collect your call rates and podcast link. If you're a guest downloading a tax statement, we collect the legal name, address, and tax ID (SSN or EIN) you provide — this is encrypted before it's stored, and only ever used to generate your tax documents.
We keep a record of your bookings (who, when, how long, and their status), whether and when you joined a scheduled call, and any no-shows, cancellations, reports, or bans associated with your account. This is what lets the app show your call history, and what the No-Show and reporting policies described in our Terms and Community Guidelines rely on.
The Quicky Connect is a marketplace, not a social network, so the two sides are treated differently. Guests are the people viewers come to book: a guest's profile — username, photo, short bio, call rates, and any podcast link — is listed in the app so viewers can browse and book them. Viewers are private: a viewer's profile is never browsable or searchable by anyone, and no one can pull a list of viewers. A guest can see a viewer's username and profile photo only for a viewer who has already reached out to them first — by booking a call or starting a message conversation. Video calls themselves are one-on-one and are never recorded by the platform.
We never see or store your full card number or bank account details — those are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Video calls are not recorded or stored by the platform at all.
We use a small number of outside services to run the app: Stripe for payments and payouts, Daily.co to power the video calls, Resend to send emails, and Expo to deliver push notifications. Each of these only receives the specific information it needs to do its job (for example, Stripe handles your card details directly — we never pass them through our own servers). We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
When you upload a profile photo, the image is processed by a third-party image-analysis service (Google Cloud Vision) solely to verify that it shows a real human face and to screen out prohibited or explicit content. Your profile photo is not used for advertising and is not sold.
Connecting a Google Calendar is entirely optional, and only available to guests. If you
connect one, we request a single, read-only permission — view your availability
(the calendar.freebusy scope). This tells us only the start and end times you are
already busy, so those times can be blocked off in your booking availability. We cannot see
event titles, descriptions, locations, attendees, or any other calendar content, and we never
write anything to your calendar. The busy times we retrieve are used only to block booking
slots, are never shown to viewers or shared with anyone, and are removed when you disconnect
the calendar.
In Account Settings, you can turn push notifications, email notifications, and text notifications on or off individually, at any time.
Deactivating your account immediately stops future logins and removes your profile from public listings. We keep your booking and payment history after that, since it's needed for receipts, tax records, and resolving any disputes that come up later.
You can see and correct most of what we hold about you directly in the app — your profile, your notification settings, and your booking history. You can also ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using our Contact Us form. We'll respond within 30 days. Some information has to be kept even after a deletion request, where the law requires it — payment and tax records in particular. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
Sensitive information like tax IDs is encrypted before it's stored, and access to it is limited to what's strictly necessary. Your password is never visible to us in plain form. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you by email and, where the law requires it, the relevant authorities.
Questions about your data, or want your account and data removed? Use our Contact Us form and we'll respond. You can also reach us from Contact Us inside the app.
